Where is Daiquiri Cocktail from?

The Daiquiri cocktail is originally from Cuba and is named after the village of Daiquiri which is located near the city of Santiago de Cuba. It was invented by Jennings Cox who was an American engineer who was working in Cuba at the time of the Spanish–American War in the late nineteenth century. Daiquiri Cocktail recipe consists of Rum, lemon juice, and sugar.

What does a Daiquiri taste like?

A daiquiri tastes like diluted rum with a hint of citrus (due to lemon) and sweetness (due to sugar).
 You can also try another variant of the daiquiri called the Strawberry Daiquiri.
